LG 101 — Leadership & Governance Foundations

Thursdays, 7:00–9:00 PM.

Required before all other courses.
By the end of LG 101, you will have a personal leadership philosophy, a vision and 90-day action plan, and a clear understanding of how leadership operates within real systems.

LG 101 — Leadership & Governance Foundations
The required foundation. Establishes leadership as the exercise of power, responsibility, and legitimacy within systems — shaped by ethics and executed through vision.

LG 102 — Ethical Leadership and Integrity
Leadership authority is sustained through legitimacy. This course situates ethics as the foundation of trust, decision-making, and institutional credibility.

LG 103 — Strategic Leadership and Visionary Thinking
Leadership becomes consequential when it shapes direction. Focuses on how leaders define, structure, and execute vision within organisations.Track B — Strategy & Governance
LG 104 — Emotional Intelligence and Leadership Presence
Leadership effectiveness is mediated through emotional discipline and relational awareness. A cultivated capacity, not a personality trait.

LG 105 — Mentorship, Coaching, and Leadership Reproduction
Leadership that does not reproduce itself is structurally weak. Frames mentorship as a strategic function, not a personal favour.

Leadership operates within changing environments. Focuses on adaptability and innovation as structured practices, not personality traits.
Track B — Strategy & Governance
LG 107 — Diversity, Inclusion, and Social Leadership
Inclusion is not symbolic — it is strategic and ethical. Develops inclusive leadership strategies grounded in equity and effectiveness.

Leadership is enacted through communication. Influence depends on clarity, persuasion, and the ability to mobilise others.

LG 109 — Crisis Leadership and Decision-Making Under Pressure
Crisis reveals the strengths and failures of leadership. Prepares leaders to operate under uncertainty, risk, and institutional pressure.
